A group of MBAEA SLPs are digging into implementing Story Champs with a variety of students on their caseloads. MBAEA SLPs were trained in September by Dr. Megan Kirby on Story Champs for effective oral language comprehension and oral language expression intervention for the solid building blocks of literacy. This research-based approach gives students the tools to improve their language comprehension skills which is vital for systematic literacy development in the Science of Reading that our districts are implementing in the classroom.
